The Origin of Delta

Delta was born from a personal experience — fishing with my father in the sea.
Over the years, we noticed that many fishing lines we bought claimed to have the same diameter, but in reality, they didn’t. Some fit into the reel, others didn’t, even when they were all supposedly 0.25 mm and 300 meters long. This inconsistency raised a red flag.

But it wasn’t just the diameter. We also realized that, when fighting the same kind of fish, some lines would break much sooner than others — even though they claimed to have the same resistance. That’s when we truly understood that something was off.

We started testing different brands by hand and quickly confirmed that the declared specifications often didn’t reflect the actual product. So we decided to take things seriously. We invested in professional equipment specifically designed to measure fishing line diameter and resistance. We also contacted IGFA and began developing Delta, a brand born with a single mission:
To provide fishermen with the most accurate, honest and high-quality lines possible.

With Delta, what you see on the label is as close to reality as possible. Every batch is tested. Every spool includes a QR code linking to certified tests. And every product is built to deliver performance, transparency, and trust.

In collaboration with one of the largest fishing line manufacturers in the world, we have developed a range of lines that combine innovation and reliability.

All lots are tested at AZ Trading, where both resistance and diameter are measured to ensure they are as close to the declared values as possible. On each label, you will find a QR code that links to a certified resistance test video, demonstrating and verifying the specific characteristics of each line.

The IGFA Class seal further certifies the quality and performance of our lines.

We produce 8-braid Teflon-coated lines, 100% fluorocarbon lines, trolling lines, and we are constantly improving to develop new products that meet the highest possible quality standards.
